Why people come

Symptoms taking up too much space

The pain hasn’t gone away. The fatigue hasn’t lifted. The fear of new symptoms keeps a quiet grip on most days. You’ve stopped doing things you used to do, and stopped looking forward to things you used to look forward to.

Therapy can’t take a chronic condition away. But it can help you reduce the disruption it causes, so you can be more present in the parts of life that matter to you.

How I work

Three approaches, one tailored plan

The right blend depends on what you’re carrying.

  • ACT for living well alongside what isn’t going to be solved.
  • EMDR for trauma that won’t simply settle on its own.
  • CBT: my BABCP accreditation and the evidence-based tradition that shapes how I work.

You might be wondering

Common questions

Will you tell me it's "just anxiety"?

No. Your health concerns are often realistic and valid. My job is to help you reduce the impact they have on your daily life, so you can be more present in the parts that matter to you.

Do you understand chronic health conditions?

Yes. I've worked in mental health since 2010, much of that in NHS services, including developing long-term-conditions pathways. I work with the intersection of physical and emotional wellbeing every day.

How does online therapy work with variable energy?

You can join from anywhere private and quiet: home, a calm spot at work, wherever suits. Removing travel means a session is still possible on a tough day, and we can adjust timing and frequency to fit how you're feeling, rather than push through when a flare-up hits.
