About Me

Hi, I’m Chris. I support people navigating life when illness changes everything – particularly when your body and mind feel at odds with each other, and when healthcare doesn’t have all the answers you need.

With 15 years’ experience in mental health and 11 years in NHS settings, I’ve seen both sides of the healthcare journey. I know how frustrating it feels when tests come back “normal” but your life feels anything but normal.

As a BABCP-accredited therapist, I specialise in that often-overlooked space where chronic health conditions and emotional wellbeing intersect. I work with CBT, ACT, and EMDR, adapting my approach to what works best for you. I’ve developed Long-Term Conditions pathways within NHS services and provided supervision to qualified therapists.

Most importantly, I understand that your health concerns are often realistic and valid – my job isn’t to challenge them or convince you they’re “just anxiety.” Instead, I help you break the exhausting cycle where symptoms create worry, and worry amplifies symptoms, so you can reconnect with what truly matters in your life.
