Hi there, I’m Chris Hutchins-Joss.
I offer online therapy using CBT and ACT to help people in the UK improve their wellbeing and manage their mental health. My goal is to support you in pursuing a rich and meaningful life, and help you to face the challenges you have in life.
I specialise in short term therapy, specifically targeting anxiety and depression. This includes specific conditions like OCD, social anxiety, and PTSD.
As an accredited therapist, I am also committed to maintaining high standards of clinical practice, clinical supervision and continuing professional development.
I'm pleased to welcome clients who fund their own treatment, or those covered by Aviva, AXA Health, or Vitality Health insurance.
Services
Individual therapy
£75 per hour
I offer one to one therapy sessions, and I specialise in high-quality, evidence-based psychological therapy for issues like stress, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. These are highly effective methods for treating common mental health problems. I am accredited by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), ensuring excellent care.
I offer CBT and other therapies for a wide range of issues, including depression, panic, social anxiety, phobias, PTSD, OCD, work stress, and self-confidence issues. Sessions are available online via Zoom. Learn more about the benefits of remote therapy here.

Supervision
£95 per hour
I offer clinical supervision to various professionals in psychological and therapeutic fields. I have supervised Clinical Psychologists, CBT therapists (both trainee and qualified), and ACT therapists. I also welcome professionals from other health care disciplines. I have served both NHS and private practitioners.
I have experience in providing supervision in both NHS, and University training settings to support CBT trainees.
