About me
My Background
I began my career in the NHS, supporting people with a wide range of mental health difficulties. During this time, I developed one of the first psychological group therapies for Long Covid, helping individuals cope with the unique challenges of this condition. I’ve worked extensively with anxiety, depression, and the emotional impact of long-term health conditions, always tailoring evidence-based approaches to each person’s needs.
Beyond my NHS work, I spent two years with a company developing digital mental health tools using AI. This experience gave me valuable insight into making mental health support more accessible. I’ve also worked with leading organisations like the British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK, which deepened my understanding of how physical and mental health are connected. These roles taught me how to help people adapt to life-changing diagnoses or injuries and reclaim a sense of purpose.
My Qualifications
I’m accredited with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), ensuring I provide the highest standard of care. I hold postgraduate qualifications in CBT, extensive training in ACT, and additional training in supervision.
I’m also passionate about supporting future therapists. I currently supervise trainee therapists at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU), sharing my knowledge to help shape the next generation of mental health professionals.
What I Believe
I believe that no one is broken—we all face moments of feeling stuck. Therapy with me is about helping you untangle what’s holding you back so you can reconnect with what matters most.
Using evidence-based therapies like CBT and ACT, I’ll guide you to unhook from unhelpful thoughts and feelings, build resilience, and take steps toward a life that feels meaningful.
You can expect a compassionate and collaborative space, tailored to your needs, where we’ll explore your values and create practical tools to help you move forward—no matter the challenges you’re facing.
